Chatham County District 6 Commissioner Aaron “Adot” Whitely will host a joint town hall meeting with City of Savannah District 5 Alderwoman Dr. Estella Edwards Shabazz and City of Savannah District 6 Alderman Kurtis Purtee on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.

The meeting will be held at the Coastal Georgia Botanical Gardens at the Historic Bamboo Farm, located at 2 Canebrake Road in Savannah. The gardens will open for those attending the meeting at 4:00 p.m.

Chatham County Engineering will be on hand to share information about the planned housing development in Georgetown off Wild Heron Road.
