Serenity is a student in Ms. Taylor and Ms. Mack’s Pre-K class at Robert W. Gadsden Elementary School and a participant in Loop It Up Savannah’s Looping Literacy Together program, a Chatham County Blueprint Implementation Grants–funded program.

Serenity’s joyful artwork will be featured as the Strategic Planning Department’s holiday card. Her artist statement says it best: “Ms. Ella and Bella are going to adopt the baby birds because they need a mama. The flowers will bloom with the sun.”

Serenity’s vision reflects the heart of the work of our Strategic Planning Department: nurturing individuals, supporting families, and strengthening our community through partnerships. Chatham County truly is Better Together when we invest in our children and work alongside dedicated organizations like Loop It Up Savannah.

👏 Congratulations, Serenity and thank you to Loop It Up Savannah for fostering creativity, joy, possibility, and learning for the children in our community.
